The holiday season is a time to spread joy and gladness around us. A group that frequently is overlooked in this way is the residents of nursing homes. This is why at Linwood Village we make it our priority to provide festive moments for our residents during this holiday season.

We are aware that for those who cannot be with family and friends during the holidays, these days can be especially difficult. So that’s why we put a lot of effort into making sure our residents feel our love and are appreciated during this season. From decorations, greenery to mealtimes, we make a holiday atmosphere that our residents look forward to every year.

We also encourage our staff and volunteers to create festive moments themselves for our residents. Whether it’s organizing a holiday sing-along, hosting a gift exchange, or just sharing time with our residents, we feel that these small actions of kindness can greatly benefit the lives of those in our care.
